Introduction to GDIF

The festival takes place in outdoor spaces across Royal Greenwich and East London.
Specific information about locations will be available soon, but the majority of events take place in the town centres of Greenwich, Woolwich and Eltham, as well as in North Greenwich, Thamesmead, Canary Wharf and other areas of Tower Hamlets.

Outdoor shows welcome all audiences and are typically more relaxed than indoor performances. Many performances are completely speech-free. Where speech is included we do our best to provide BSL interpreters and/or captions where we can.

You can view events that have BSL interpretation, Captions or Audio Description here. Each event page has an access section where you can find out more about the performance, for example whether there is speech or music, or if there are loud noises. We will also publish information in a range of formats, including large-print, audio-guides and video. Location guides, photo-routes and other information will also be available to download.
