What to expect at GDIF

Almost all events at GDIF are free of charge and do not require a ticket.

The Festival is open for everyone to enjoy, and we are committed to ensuring access is a priority. We also run the GDIF Festival HUB for outdoor arts professionals across our opening weekend, as well as offering a host of volunteering opportunities across the Festival. Explore the links below to find out more.

Get the most up to date information on Twitter or by joining the GDIF mailing list.

Look out for GDIF’s friendly volunteers who will be on hand at every event to help with information and directions. You can’t miss them with their bright pink t-shirts!

Feeling peckish while you’re at the Festival? There are plenty of food and drink stalls for you to treat yourself, including award-winning jerk chicken from Thamesmead and delightfully cool ice creams to savour in the sun.

We have photographers and filmmakers at events to capture footage to share online and for use in future. If you don’t want to be featured, please wear a ‘No Photography’ sticker, availble from our volunteers.

If you’re a budding photographer yourself, feel free to tag us in your snaps @GDIFestival.

And don’t forget to tell us what you think about the Festival – we want to hear from you!.
