GDIF 2023 | London’s free, annual outdoor performing arts festival 25 August-10 September 2023
We believe that celebrating communities and public spaces through the arts is more important than ever, at a time when theatres, galleries, and museums are closed, and people are craving connection and reflection.
Financing the festival is always challenging, and we work hard every year to keep it free for everyone. As we adapt our programme to embed extra safety measures and reduce audience capacities, this leads to extra costs and fewer donations, meaning that we need your support more than ever.
We would be enormously grateful if you would consider donating to GDIF in the midst of these challenging times. If you’re a UK Taxpayer, Just Giving can reclaim Gift Aid that will add 25% to the value of your donation, at no extra cost to you.
Anything you can give will help us to continue bringing free, spectacular, accessible, inclusive outdoor arts to public spaces across London as we’ve been doing for 25 years.

Become a Patron
Delivering GDIF is only possible thanks to the commitment and generosity of our supporters. Our Patrons help many thousands of people to attend the arts for the first time through an annual donation towards the work we do at GDIF. We develop close ties with our Patrons, individuals who share a passion for the Festival, the arts more broadly, or the London boroughs in which we work. For a minimum donation of £300, as a GDIF Patron you will receive:
- Acknowledgement of your support in the Festival brochure and on the website
- An advance copy of the Festival brochure
- Priority booking for ticketed shows
- An invitation to the Patrons’ reception at GDIF
