Presented By Stacked Wonky

4 Minutes

9 & 10 September | 2:40pm & 3:38pm | Wren Landing, Canary Wharf

Duration: 8 mins

What to Expect: Dance | Speech free

Two 16yearold boys with something to say, are given 4 minutes each to report back on life. In this physically risky, raw and delicate performance, we race through the monotony, irrationality and brilliance of young life. A joyful dance duet signalling what’s possible when young people are allowed to fly.

Stacked Wonky is a glorious entanglement of performance making, West Somerset places and incredible kids with a village high street HQ. We live and work side-by-side with those we seek to engage. In the experimental performance worlds we create, you’ll find skilled child and adult performers, equally trusted. We believe kids have the power to deliver a gut-punch to audiences unlike any other. For the past 7 years, the kids we work with – an expanding cohort that are growing up with us – are integral to how each performance is made. They are now making work in their own right.
