GDIF 2024 | London’s free, annual outdoor performing arts festival 23 August-8 September 2024

Presented By AndroidX + MHz | London Premiere

Crowd_Ctrl | On Your Doorstep

3 September | 1.50pm & 4.50pm | On Your Doorstep: Rathbone Market, Canning Town, Royal Docks

Duration: 35mins

Afro street moves collide with tech and LED visuals.

4 dancers from London’s Dragonsquad busking crew (of Oxford Circus fame) turn their personal history of the Afrobeat’s movement into a futuristic Odyssey.

Featuring a cast of Afro-battle dance champions, digital storytelling, fresh motion graphics on an LED wall by graphic prodigy Wumzum, this spectacular new GDIF commission is created by choreographer AndroidX in collaboration with MHz scenography.
