In celebration of Pride London, Healing Together hosts an afternoon of queer cabaret, music, drag and singalong. Acts include Liv, a nonbinary diva who believes in the community-building powers of drag;  ‘The People’s Pensioner’ Ida Barr in a celebration of the people of North Woolwich; “captivating vocalist and story teller” (The Stage), Cazeleonplus a 1960’s style sing-a-long from Jonny Woo, bringing the spirit of the pubs that lined Albert Road in Silvertown back to life. Then following her recent appearance at Newham’s Word Ffestival, Chamonix invites you to partake of some old time showtune therapy, whilst Bolly-Illusion brings a message of female empowerment in a Bollywood extravaganza you don’t want to miss – plus more!

Jonny Woo

Jonny Woo presents a raucous 1960’s style pub sing-a-long, bringing the spirit of the pubs that lined The Albert Road of Silvertown and North Woolwich back to life. Olivier Award winner Richard Thomas is on keys and Jonny is joined by singers Sooz Kempner and Kevin Davies. Roll Out The Barrel, My Old Man’s A Dustman and Daisy Daisy alongside Motown Classics, Rock’n’Roll and other chart topping hits that made 60’s London swing. Join in and sing out loud and proud.

Dubbed “the people’s pensioner”, Ida is delighted to be celebrating the people of North Woolwich. She promises to rock the Royal Victoria Gardens with banging numbers, hot mixes, community singalongs and enjoying the sheer joie de vivre of being alive with her audiences.

Cazeleon, GDIF 2021. Cazeleon performs live, she holds a microphone and sings with eyes closed. She has long, curled blonde hair, golden eye make up and a neatly trimmed brown beard.

Cazeleon is the shape shifting siren of the stage and screen and international award winning cabaret chameleon.

What to Expect: Speech Free | Join In

Chamonix, GDIF 2021. Chamonix sings live on stage. She has thick blonde hair, held up in a large bun by a red head band and wears a white dress with furry cuffs.

Come take a trip to Chamonix – Cabaret Artiste and International Monied Trash. Comedy songs and showtune therapy for the masses. Retail relief never looked so good.

Liv

Liv is a non-binary diva and fierce drag artiste who believes in the community-building powers of drag. They were a finalist at The Glory’s Lipsync1000 in 2019.

Alt-cabaret artist Robyn Herfellow spreads queer joy, music and mischief across London. They are relentlessly playful, fearlessly different, and unstoppably trash.

Bolly-Illusion is a British-Asian performance artist who embraces their influences of South Asian and pop music, bringing a message of female empowerment. A Bollywood extravaganza you don’t want to miss!


 

Soroya Michelle, GDIF 2021. Soroya looks into the camera holding a strong, focused impression. She holds her hand up to touch her cheek and wears a large extravagant leopard print hat.

Soroya is a fierce queen who fuses a strong and determined demeanour with glamour and elegance. She’s the HTH Lip Sync winner of 2019, Finalist in the Lip Synch 1000 and came 2nd in the lip sync for your life in Brighton – she takes lip synching to a whole new level.
