Join Compagnie MOSO in building an extraordinary architectural playspace from bamboo.
Stratford Park becomes a creative building site where families are invited to join Compagnie Morphosis, to help build an extraordinary bamboo play structure.
The bamboo constructions constantly evolve and transform, resulting in a soaring imaginative playground for children to explore.
Morphosis is supported by the London Borough of Newham, Global Streets and Arts Council England. With thanks to Charcoal Blue.
About Compagnie MOSO
Anatole Zembok and Christine Pierre work body and object, to create living architectures. Seduced by the efficiency of bamboo which combines mechanical performance, aesthetics, and environmental virtues, they have been exploring, through this material, structural systems since 2010 (shows, installations, transmission, design and construction of evolving structures, bamboo marquee). Their work lies between living arts, crafts and architecture.
They highlight the process / gesture of the manufacturer in their different proposals. They design, build and bring to life different bamboo structure objects.
The MOSO Company, founded in 2011 in Strasbourg, is subsidized by the DRAC Grand-Est, the Grand-Est Region, the Haut-Rhin General Council, and the City of Strasbourg. The Company moved to Occitanie in 2019, where it set up its workshop in Sète within the “L’Astrelier” collective. Then in the Cévennes slates today.
Artistic: Christine Pierre & Anatole Zembok
