A popup, largerthanlife box appears and becomes the setting for an immersive acrobatic exploration through contemporary dance of how we navigate creativity without limits.

The100Hands  

Since their founding in 2014, The100Hands have developed their own form of  interactive dance, with their own recognisable signature and success with audiences of all ages.

The100Hands have redefined their relationship between dancers and audiences by bringing them closer together and in contact. In this theatrical space The100Hands creates the right conditions to feel the impacts, of everyday interactions between people. By working mobile, sustainably and compactly, their high-quality, intimate performances can play in an array of  locations for local and international communities.

Site Access

All shows in Dancing City are free to attend. Just show up.

Relaxed   

Dancing City is a relaxed event. You can join and leave anytime, move around and make noise.   

Level Access  

Dancing City show locations have good step-free access and hard-standing surfaces.   

Access Viewing areas   

Each performance location will have an access viewing area for disabled audience members marked with a sign or flag. Space for wheelchair users, companions and seating with and without arms will be available. 

Locations and routes 

The festival site includes various locations across the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford Town Centre. The furthest distance between locations is 320m.   

Check the Dancing City festival map and brochure to plan your route, ask a volunteer or at the information point.  

Quiet Space  

A Quiet Space will be avaible for anyone who wishes to escape the crowds for some chillout time in a low sensory comfortable environment.  

Many peaceful areas have shade and seating across the park. 

Accessible Toilets and Changing Places  

The Podium: Accessible toilets and Changing Places– ask in Riverside East café for a Radar key. 

University College London: Accessible toilets and Changing Places- ask at reception for Radar key.  

Westfield Stratford City: Accessible toilets on various levels. Changing Places on the ground floor between Made by Society and Watches of Switzerland, radar key from staff and guest services. 

Stratford Centre: Accessible toilets only.
