The GDIF Festival HUB 2019, presented in association with OutdoorArtsUK
Friday 21 – Sunday 23 June 2019
Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, SE10
The GDIF Festival HUB is a meeting point for everybody with a professional interest in outdoor arts; artists, producers, programmers, makers, companies, practitioners and everyone else… all are welcome.
We’re offering a busy programme of networking opportunities, performance previews, discussions, training and mentoring sessions, briefings and receptions. Hosted in a marquee in the grounds of Sir Christopher Wren’s Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, the GDIF Festival HUB is also somewhere to relax and chill out before and after the shows and to meet and make new professional connections.
Tailored for both UK and international professionals and anyone with an interest in learning more about the outdoor arts sector, the programme runs alongside the opening weekend of the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, offering the chance to catch an intensive programme of new outdoor productions, including a number of UK premières.
The full GDIF programme will be revealed in April and international highlights will include the UK premières of Teatro dei Venti’s Moby Dick (Italy), Collectif Big Binôme’s Saut and Babok’s Poldercoaster (The Netherlands). The full line up will also showcase 8 new productions from Without Walls (the UK’s consortium of outdoor arts festivals and producers) as well as new work from other British companies including Simple Cypher and Gandini Juggling.
With a packed weekend schedule featuring over 20 productions, the GDIF Festival HUB is the perfect way for outdoor arts professionals to reflect, share, learn, plan and be inspired in a magnificent riverside setting.
The full HUB programme will be announced and free registration will open on 1 May 2019.
