Fusing dance, music, acrobatics and spectacle, General Gordon Square will be transformed into a glittering outdoor ballroom, with the help of a giant overhead chandelier, in this high-flying, immersive production from internationally acclaimed Transe Express.
As part of the performance, London-based Mass Movement Director Jeanefer Jean-Charles has collaborated with Transe Express to create a special segment showcasing 7 local dance groups with new and sampled music from DJ Walde.
Cristal Palace will be performed as part of GDIF’s spectacular Opening Night, transforming the streets and public spaces of Woolwich with art, food, dance, street theatre and a dazzling finale. This is your chance to experience London’s newest and most vibrantly authentic cultural destination at its best.

Blue badge parking
In Woolwich town centre, blue badge parking is available at Powis Street car park, Tesco car park (free for three hours) and there are several on street blue badge parking spots in the town centre. A drop off and pick up point will also be available on Wellington Street.
A viewing platform with limited seating will be located at the back of the audience area.

About the show
Founded in 1982 by Brigitte Burdin and Gilles Rhode, Transe Express produces enchanting urban and street performing art. They have built a repertory of 26 plays and the Transe Express crew has introduced their creations to over 62 countries with spectacular shows and gigantic and sophisticated installations.
