Part of On Your Doorstep
Sat 29 - Sun 30 August
Duration: 60 minutes
Type: Installation, Music, Spectacle, Street Games
Coming to your doorstep, this beautiful, communal celebration of food, song, stories, dance and fire features storytelling musicians working from a roaming kitchen. Responding to tales and recipes picked up along the way, residents will be invited to offer their own stories into the mix. Expect flying pancakes, singing, dancing, shared laughter and new friends.
TOAST will be performed as part of On Your Doorstep, an innovative response to bringing outdoor arts to local audiences.
This will be marked with a flag or sign with limited seating – please ask a GDIF Volunteer if you’re not sure where to go.
A captioned and BSL-interpreted video will be available to watch on the website. Coming soon.
Large-print, easy read and audio versions of the festival brochure will be available to download in advance or to pick up on the day (apart from the audio guide, which will only be available online).
