Part of Dancing City
Duration: 30 minutes
Sorry – this event has already happened!
Fusing movement and music in a production created around a uniquely engineered, 3.5m high percussion wheel, this visceral production integrates rhythmic intensity and “heart in the mouth” choreography.
PULSE! will be performed as part of Dancing City, London’s favourite outdoor dance event that showcases a dazzling array of performances from the UK and beyond in the parks, piazzas and public spaces of Canary Wharf.
There is step-free access across Canary Wharf.
This will be marked with a flag or sign – please ask a GDIF Volunteer if you’re not sure where to go. There will be some limited seating provided, too.
An audio described track of this performance is available to download here.
Audience members should report to the tech area 15mins prior to the performance. The Production Manager will provide further instructions on the audience description process and instruct audience members when to start the track. Part way through the performance the music takes a feature moment and the audience is asked to click play again when a particular sound is heard.
A captioned and BSL-interpreted video about Dancing City will be available to watch on the website. Coming soon.
Our photo route details the most accessible route between the nearest public transportation and performance locations. Download our photo route.
Large-print, easy read and audio versions of the festival brochure will be available to download in advance or to pick up on the day (apart from the audio guide, which will only be available online).
