Prepare to be amazed by the explosive tricks and artful dexterity of Simple Cypher’s Roll Play. Three performers blur the boundaries between hip hop and circus, using intricate moves and virtuosic agility to give a captivating, cheeky and effortlessly cool performance.
Roll Play will be performed as part of Greenwich Fair, GDIF’s two-day “festival within a festival” from 21-23 June, bringing together UK and international street arts companies to Greenwich Town Centre in a fun-filled, family-friendly extravaganza.
There is step-free access to the performance location in Cutty Sark Gardens. The most direct route is from the north side of Cutty Sark Gardens, near the Foot Tunnel. Or else you can access the performance level at the entrance to Cutty Sark Gardens from Greenwich Church Street (near M&S and the Gipsy Moth Pub).
This area will be marked with a flag or sign and will have limited seating – please ask a GDIF Volunteer if you’re not sure where to go.

About the show
Graduates from the National Centre for Circus Arts, Kieran Warner & Christopher Thomas came together to combine their circus training with their passion for Hip Hop. The company uses key fundamentals of hip hop culture; style, originality and unity, whilst connecting art forms focusing on innovation through play.
