Big Gay Disco Bike

Part of Greenwich Fair

29 August

Duration: 60 minutes

What to Expect: Make some noise

Big Gay Disco Bike is exactly what it sounds like, a feelgood pop-up big gay disco performed on a bike. Join cabaret superstar, vocal powerhouse, and overwhelmingly modest (and not at all delusional) drag icon in the making, Fatt Butcher on a golden disco bike as we bring the D-I-S-C-O to the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College.

Sorry, this event has already happened!

About the company

Fatt Projects is the brainchild of Birmingham based producer & cultural activist Adam Carver. We develop socially engaged projects which use performance in diverse contexts to explore queerness, community, & making change, often in public spaces or contexts where queer identity is underrepresented. We’re on a mission to celebrate low-culture and camp and to use them as weapons to disrupt normatively – expect power ballads, gameshows, politics, and glitter. Recent projects have focused on developing pioneering queer positive performance work for children & outdoor audiences. Including FANTABULOSA; a drag show for kids & Disco Tea Party, a community building cabaret gameshow.
