Greenwich Fair

Sunday 29 August, 1-9pm

What to Expect: Great for Kids

Free

GDIF’s much loved annual ‘festival within a festival’ is back! Family-friendly street arts, theatre, circus, installations and play will take over the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College and Cutty Sark Gardens on August Bank Holiday Sunday.

GDIF’s Greenwich Fair is inspired by the historic Fair at Greenwich, which was hugely popular up until 1852. Charles Dickens described how the Fair brought travelling shows and general mayhem and frivolity to Greenwich, with people from all walks of life flocking in to share a dose of escapism and entertainment.

Meet at the Access Area at 12.30pm for the BSL tour.
